It's taking place...

At the time of writing this, the situation is still evolving.

But one thing is certain…

ESCALATION.

And believe it or not…

The hints are always there.

This has been prepared for at least a month.

The buildup was clear!

And the campaign is now in full operation.

Now, do I really have to tell you what this means for markets?

You know it!

1. Bullish GOLD

2. Bearish risk assets

What I can add is that, as far as I’m aware, from what I’m seeing right now, this looks like a full blown campaign targeted at overthrowing the Iranian regime.

It’s not “limited strikes”, it’s NOT a negotiation tactic.

It’s a campaign targeted against the whole regime and its infrastructures.

The announcement below from Trump says it all:

If you have 8 minutes, listen to that to understand the full magnitude of the operation.

That’s to say that this does NOT look like a short term event that will settle quickly.

Again! This looks like a full blown military campaign that will have a noticable medium term impact on the market.

At least that’s how it looks right now.

A lot can still change, of course!
